By Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America, CC BY-SA 2.0, 18×10 inch clothed marble bust replica of Ada Lovelace and Nikola Tesla clothed. They are both depicted with scientific instruments and Tesla is depicted with a coil and what it represents. The most prominent of which is a laurel wreath, also known as the victor’s crown. It represents military victory and civic honor in ancient Rome, but controversially, nationalist groups have recently adopted the symbol to represent their own interpretations of historical grandeur and state-centered identity.
