We were Inspired by Modula’s 2″ x 2″ recycled glass mosaic when we create our Modula Recycled Glass Mosaic Collection; Modula was a sustainable recycled-glass tile system. Based on modular tessellation they created the Modula 2″ x 2″ mosaic, a “Mosaic Panel System” patented in the United States in 2015 and used for producing durable, water-resistant countertops and pool surrounds using interlocking recycled glass tiles and polymer grout. Modula mosaic is found in many contemporary ecofriendly countertops and pool surrounds and in major renovation projects across the United States. It is used in a huge number of residential and commercial countertops and pool surrounds. Modula was not the principal manufacturer for most of the projects.

- Some colors exhibit iridescent color shifts due to recycled glass composition and change depending on the angle of illumination and viewing, so recommend ordering a sample before you make your final decision to purchase.

- This Product has PEI Rating of 4 (endurance and hardness indicator), and therefore is suited for countertops, pool surrounds and medium-duty surfaces.
- Note: Do not dry-cut recycled glass mosaic tiles when installing due to the potential for exposure to silica dust and glass particles. Use a wet saw or diamond blade when cutting.
